Claire works as a writer, story editor and producer. She has written several movies: Falling For Look Lodge for Neshama and Marvista, (Hallmark); the story for Ice Wine Christmas, produced in 2020 by Cineflix (Lifetime); and Cupids on Beacon Street for Incendo, produced in November, 2020. Claire was Story Editor for the award-winning feature Truckstop Bloodsuckers and for Kate Melville’s award-winning feature Picture Day.
For TV, Claire’s credits include Executive Story Editor (ESE) on the first season of the one-hour drama Good Witch for Hallmark TV; Supervising Producer of DHX’s tween comedy Make It Pop for Nickelodeon/YTV; writer and ESE on Little Mosque on the Prairie for CBC/Hulu; writer on Degrassi, The Next Generation for CTV/Teen Nick (for which Claire earned The Alliance for Children and Television Award for Excellence); head writer/producer for The Smart Woman Survival Guide for W/Cosmo TV; and writer/ESE on Wingin’ It for Family Channel/Disney XD Canada/BBC (earning Claire a 2014 Canadian Screen Award Nomination for Best Writing in a Children’s or Youth Program). She has written on many other TV shows for kids, tweens and teens, including: Piper’s Pony Tales (Epic) Wolf Joe (TVO), Opie’s Home (Marble Media/Jim Henson/TVO), Nina’s World (Pipeline Studios/Universal Kids), Anne of Green Gables, the Animated Series (Sullivan/PBS/TVO), Lunar Jim (CBC), Henry’s World (Family Channel), Sesame Park (CBC), I Love Mummy (Breakthrough for BBC/YTV), Hello Mrs. Cherrywinkle (Owl TV/Family Channel), and Dudley the Dragon (Breakthrough for TVO/PBS).
