Spring Break, 1967, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida - Tens of thousands of college students make history at the Elbo Room, Highway A1A, the iconic beach, tear gas, curfews, and sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. Toby Reed - former Heisman Trophy shoe-in - finds his true calling, true love and an unexpected clarity amidst the youthful frenzy known as LAUDERDALE. 

SYNOPSIS:

Back in 1967, Toby Reed was a shoe-in for the Heisman trophy and a first round NFL draft pick. But a cheap shot end zone hit steals both prizes, leaving him physically broken and spiritually bereft. But enough people believe in him that he is able to find a new path in life, unexpected love and a talent he never knew he had. So when tensions from the Vietnam War, impending final exams and youthful freedom collide against the background of tens of thousands of student spring breakers in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Toby is witness to a critical turning point in the contentious decade of the Sixties and define his path for the coming years.
