Actor, Writer, Director & Co-founder of Bench Productions.

Jacob has starred in numerous Short Films and Commercials including the likes of Safestyle UK and Vanish Oxi Action.
As well as starring in ‘Today is a good day” Directed by Natalie Evans that went on to win the European Cinematography Awards.

Bench Production's is a company based in Manchester/ London that make new and exciting short films.

Fellow friends and creatives Jacob Melling, Jonathan Harrow & David Reiverson have worked together since leaving University, with the three going on to create their film based production company Bench Productions.

Primrose (2018) their first short film tells the story of Josh (Aarron Douglas), who after going through a break up feels his life has become pointless and repetitive, questioning what he wants to do with his life.

Filmed in Manchester, U + I (2019) is their second short film starring Alexandra Rose Wilson touches on themes of love, loss & how far we are willing to go.

U + I went on to be shown at the film festivals Bench Fest (2020) & Chalk Fest (2020).
