SYNOPSIS:

After being trapped in a forgotten mineshaft for over 100 years, a pack of bloodthirsty werewolf-like creatures are unleashed upon a remote ski resort. The once human creatures were transformed after being cursed by a Native American shaman, when they tried to steal and murder to gain ownership of the mine. Many decades later the mine area has been developed into a small remote winter sports resort. Avalanche blasting unearths an opening to the shaft, releasing the bloodthirsty creatures during Christmas weekend. Ski patrol members save a wayward skier via a daring snowmobile run to outrun the planned avalanche. After a day of winter sports, night falls on the resort, and so does a reign of supernatural terror. The Ski Patrol is populated by a young group of trash talking, movie-quoting yet highly skilled ski and snowboard bums. Other locals include an ex-Olympian champion, a crusty Russian throwback from the cold war, and a loveable snow cat driver. Once the attack has begun, they must do everything they can to stay alive, and save as many friends and tourists as possible. To do this, they are forced to use every skill they possess as snowboarders, skiers, hunters, and biathaletes. Skis and poles, snowboards and snowmobiles are all used as methods of escape, and as fatal weapons to ward off attacking creatures. To make matters worse, a fierce blizzard has forced the closure of access roads, and no one can leave. Raging moments of terror and action, are lightened by injections of sarcastic and humorous dialogue between survivors, as they try and bolster their failing courage. Rivalries and Fears must be set aside by those who hope to survive the night and find way s to overcome nearly unsurmountable odds and Bite Back!
