Adam’s been a professional screenwriter for nearly twenty years. His original screenplays have been optioned by such established producers as Andrew Mason (The Matrix), Jim McElroy (The Year of Living Dangerously), John Edwards (The Beach), Bryan Brown (Twisted Tales), Martin Brown (Moulin Rouge!) and Matt Reeder (Hearts and Bones), among many others.
He’s been commissioned to adapt several books for the screen, including the YA novel The Cursed by Michael Panckridge, the historical novel The White Divers of Broome by John Bailey, and the best-selling survival tale The Bear by Claire Cameron.
He won the Bill Warnock Award for his pitch Scott Free, was a joint winner of the National Sitcom Festival for The Wild Brothers (with co-writer Pete Donovan), and his script The Quiet War was selected for the prestigious SP*RK program where he was mentored by Robin Swicord.
Adam is currently based in Australia.
