Stephen Cardew

I'm 64, retired from teaching and now writing, more or less full-time. I had a book of short stories published in 2018, 'Cafe Britannica' and have since written a six-episode sitcom with my son, M.D. Hirst, and am now writing a 90-minute drama with both my son and my friend Andy Fosterjohn.
I'm always looking to improve the craft of my writing and am an enthusiastic member of 2 writing groups, one locally based and the other in Australia.
