A teenage boy living in the 70's discovers the love for Northern Soul Music, suffering with anxiety his life long dream is to own his own record shop, after finding out his grandmother passes away from cancer his dream becomes less of a dream until he rediscovers it again.

You somehow have to shorten it Michael and say the same thing. Shortening it -- to let us say 35 words -- forces you to think what your story is really about; what is for the logline and what is to be told , for instance, in your synopsis. Look uo some examples of how to write a logline, see what parts it is constructed of, an inciting incident etc. Best, Rutger

Suggestion for you: "An anxiety stricken teenager with a love for Norther Soul Music, rediscovers his life long dream after conquering his overwhelming depression from the loss of his grandmother. " Still a little wordy but hopefully gives you ideas.
