Rebeka is an award winning film and television producer. Alumna of Capilano University’s Motion Picture Program, her graduate film The Peace Offering was nominated for four awards, and won the Award of Excellence at the Canada International Film Festival in 2010. She worked in development for Brightlight Pictures in 2011, before transitioning to the story department for the award winning show Ice Pilots NWT with Omnifilm Entertainment. Since then, Rebeka has worked in the story department on several lifestyle and reality programs, while maintaining an impressive slate of personal projects. Her original fitness series Kiss My Incoming Abs for NOVUS TV recently completed its second season. Another project, The Legend of Davy Crockett placed in the Top 15 with Cinecoup 2015, and is now in development as a television series with a well-known Vancouver production company. Despite a busy workload, Rebeka still manages to make time to support the Vancouver filmmaking community at large by co-producing the successful monthly screening event VanChan.
