V.C. Lennox

Writer of screenplays including shorts, full length features and a tv pilot. Some years ago I had a screenplay optioned by Granada Television and although it wasn’t eventually picked up, the process of expanding the script and writing the television treatment was invaluable. Looking to brush up my skills, I graduated September 2022 from the Goldsmiths University MA Script Writing and during my time there wrote a short based on a treatment by Xiao Jiao, one of the MA Directing students. That short, #3099, won the Special Jury Prize and the Outstanding Award at ISFVF Festival 2022, Beijing, and Best Actor for Dylan Hall at Indie Clips Short Film Festival. I’m currently writing a short with director Daniele Guerra, plus another of the Goldsmiths MA Filmmaking shorts for 2023 and script editing a second.

For my day job, I am a dramatic literary agent representing a list of active playwrights and literary estates. Prior to becoming an agent, I worked in development for film and TV companies in London and Los Angeles, and also as a freelance script reader and entertainment journalist.
