Laura E Perez

L.E. Perez (Laura) is a published author of stories ranging from thrillers to reapers, to time travel and the paranormal, to romance for all ages. They write the stories that need to be written which unfortunately makes them a bit of a genre slut.
Their motto is: Strong Women, Strong Stories. They are a regular workshop presenter for the Orange County Library System and local writer’s workshop, Writer’s Atelier on writing topics and love to promote local resources whenever they can.
With fifteen years of experience in Corrections and Probation, years of experience as a Martial Arts instructor and survivor of Domestic Violence, L.E. brings an authenticity to their writing that is raw and heartfelt.
L.E. has recently branched out to help doctor action and fight scenes for other writers as The Fight Whisperer and provides sensitivity reads for writers in all genres.
Their writing role model? Their mother Laura Luzmila who L.E. grew up watching as she worked full time and wrote into the night.
L.E. lives in Orlando, FL with their partner in life of over 30 years (as of 2021), as well as running their LLCs, Palmas Publishing and Manra Moon Press. Freelance editing as well as their own writing keeps them pretty busy. Add in the Legion of Writers Podcast they host and they have more than enough work to handle.
