My name is Edyta Łukaszewska. I graduated in The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw.. Higher educational institution . For 19 years i have been a member of the ensemble of the Teatr Nowy. During this time I played about 20 main-roles and innumerable supporting time .Anyway, in this place was small stage . I never play performance here but I heared that in this place were many good performance. And I feel this good energy, don't you ? :)
Our theater have a patron Tadeusz Łomnicki – he was great actor . He Die on our big stage . Finally he was offered the lead role in Shakespeare's King Lear. What he considered his most important role was highly anticipated by the critics. The play was to be staged for the first time on 29 February 1992. However, a week before, on 22 February Łomnicki suddenly died of a heart attack during one of the last dress rehearsals on the stage of Poznań-based Teatr Nowy. His last words were King Lear's line: Then there's life in't. Nay, if you get it, you shall get it with running. Sa, sa, sa, sa
