Andy Poon

Andy Poon has been working as art director, visual development artist and consultant for the last 15 plus years in animation, live action and the toy industry. His latest involvement includes The Dragon Prince and Magic: The Gathering animated series. He started his career as a costume illustrator and prop designer for live action film and television at the age of 16. Deciding to expand his creativity, Andy studied computer animation at the Vancouver Film School before landing a job as Art Director at Nerd Corps Entertainment. While at Nerd Corps, Andy developed and led many properties including Story Hawks, Slugterra, Monster High, Max Steel, and Blaze and the Monster Machines. Andy continues to remain active as a conceptual illustrator for live action entertainment such as Arrow, The Flash and many other Vancouver productions. With the experiences of the industry and the passion to expand his creativity and vision, Andy has started to develop his own properties with the dream to also create his own toy line.
