Two men die in a car crash and find themselves in the afterlife. It is a giant theme park called Heaven World. It is Heaven for the man who has arrived there welcomed as a guest, but it is Hell for the man who has arrived to be one of the park's employees.

SYNOPSIS:

Benjamin Prodigal is a hard-working man with a wife and young daughter. His current gig is as a chauffeur for Vincent Pyrite, a hotshot hedge fund manager whose returns are a bit too good to be believed.

Prodded by his boss to rush through the busy city traffic, both men are killed in a car crash and find themselves in the afterlife setting of Heaven World, a giant theme park where the world's great religions inspire the attractions, and the great historic religious philosophers and luminaries are the characters of renown.

As Ben is introduced to the park and his own personal mansion by Angelica, one of the perky park guides, Vincent has been assigned to much more menial work and circumstances.

Through the series, we learn about the lives both men had on Earth and the ripples their deaths made in the communities around them. We follow Ben's adjustment at being in paradise without the two people he loves the most, and we learn whether or not there is any path or hope of redemption for the unfortunately fallen Vincent.
