I Graduated with a 2.1 in Television and Studio Production with intentions to go into Documentary and Film work. My original ambition was to be a camera operator, however when faced with roles of creativity and leadership in low budgets, I developed an interest in Assistant Directing and creative control over productions.
I love working with like-minded people and welcome a good deadline challenge, but when working solo I usually play around with a few production ideas of my own and write a few rough scripts for possible future development. My inspiration for my work comes from a good mix of life experience and work by previous great film makers. I also enjoy playing various roles on screen from time to time. Non-media interests include foreign cultures, languages (I'm bi-lingual in French and keenly studying Mandarin Chinese) and travel. I would definitely welcome any opportunity for work abroad.
I use a Cannon 7D with Rode video mic and tripod to film with and edit on Avid Studio, though I am also familiar with Final Cut Pro.
