I am presently a freelancer within the film industry and have worked in different departments over the years. Currently, I am engaged in screenplay writing and busy working on the sequel to a script that reached the semi-finals of the Mammoth Pictures Screenplay Competition 2023 and the Writers Guild of South Africa Muse Awards – Feature Film Category 2021

Creative writing includes a short volume of poetry, A Thread of Love - actively in pursuit of publication for this body of work.

I’ve also completed a children’s story, Melo the Guardian and in the process of searching for the right illustrator for this body of work.

Translation work includes a Flemish children’s story by author Nathalie DeVuyst – Het Geheime Dagboek

Within the music industry, over the years I was involved in the registration of musicians and artistic material. During that period, I also designed a few CD cover, did blurb writing and press releases. Editing of lyric writing was for musician Neilen Mirror of the band Fallen Mirror.

Past creative endeavours included my own costume jewellery making company Sundial Productions servicing both the local and international markets.

In-between screenplay writing I am busy completing a family board game which is one play away from submission.

Formal studies encompassed social sciences with a keen interest in philosophy. Broader interest includes the examination of metaphysics; not forgoing a keen interest in all art forms.
