SYNOPSIS:

It's “SHUTTER ISLAND” meets “CONSPIRACY THEORY” in this action-packed, psychological thriller about a Secret Service agent named MEALEA KIM and the world she thinks she lives in. In the world she believes is real she's trying to be part of the elite group of men and women that form the Presidential Protective Detail. But those plans are cut short when the president's regular driver becomes sick and she's chosen to temporarily take his place. But something sinister lurks behind the scenes which will test Agent Kim's sanity. And when a mysterious man claiming to be her fiance appears out of nowhere with news that the CIA is plotting to assassinate the president of the United States, Agent Kim's trust in those around her will be put to the test. Agent Kim has no idea who this stranger is despite his best efforts to convince her that he's her fiance and that the CIA tried to kill him so they could do something to her. Pressed for details, Ethan is unable to provide them. His “proofs” are merely hunches as are his “theories” on what the CIA may have done to her and why. He even urges her to stop taking the migraine pills because the CIA may have done something to them. Agent Kim learns through her boss, Special Agent-In-Charge, BRIAN FINCH, that Ethan is actually an escaped mental patient from a psychiatric hospital in Buffalo. They've been trying to nab him for some time now since his escape but he manages to stay one step ahead of them. Agent Kim's world really begins to fall apart when she's approached by the “ASSASSIN”, ARUN MAO, a trained killer from Cambodia on a mission to kill the president for war crimes he committed against his village twenty years earlier. With Ethan in one ear and Mao in the other, Agent Kim's migraines intensify until she can no longer deal with any of them. But both men are equally relentless in their efforts. Ethan wants her to remember him and the accident in which the CIA kidnapped her while Mao the assassin wants to recruit her so they can both assassinate the president. Agent Kim will painfully learn just how far the CIA is willing to go to successfully carry out their plot.
