Theatre of the absurd, but more cinematic.
I thought of doing something to really stretch the actors. It's not an abrasive conflict, more of an echo chamber that emits a terrible screech.
So, the pretentious screenwriter gets hit by a lorry, and low-and-behold, his screenplay is finally discovered.
He lies there, is taken to hospital, and is unhappy as can be. However, his pain, his agony, is not caused by crushed bones, but by people just not getting his work.
This makes fun of the anxiety that artists sometimes express.
Not as weird as Le Chien Andalou, Last Night at Mirabeau, or those types, but eccentric anyway. Like Monty Python or The Young Ones, but I hope it will be nothing like them either.
Features a cameo by Dali. Don't worry, you don't have to cast the real Dali, he's dead.
