I am a Producer who was born and raised in Kentucky and I’ve loved film ever since age 3 when my Grandfather took me to my first movie in the theater to see Steven Spielberg’s “E.T." Over the past 20 years, I’ve been dedicated to my career, climbing the ranks from Production Assistant to Producer working on commercials, television shows, films, and live events. I’ve had the honor to work alongside many inspirational industry folks on jobs such as the 77th Academy Awards, 2006 American Idol Finale, numerous Musicares Events, Stephen King’s "Rose Red" Film and countless commercials for clients such as Apple, Macy’s, Ford, Home Depot, Comcast, DirecTV, KFC, and Columbia Sportswear. Currently, I reside in Los Angeles working as a Producer on what started as a small audio project and is now a large-scale project that I’ve helped grow.
While I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, the story I’m excited to tell takes place in Newport, Kentucky. I grew up in the town next to Newport, Vegas before Vegas, and have a lot of family history there. Pompilio’s Restaurant, which my family opened in 1933 and sold in 1982, served the first legal alcoholic drink in Kentucky once Prohibition ended (April 1st, 1933). Thanks to several locals for sharing their first or second-hand accounts with me, on camera, along with many historical firsts, the story of this little Kentucky town that led to Vegas is aching to be told.
I’m most inspired by compelling storytelling. My extensive producing experience paired with the passion I have to tell a story of a town dear to my heart makes me excited to share my pitch with you.
