SYNOPSIS:
Living in Hollywood to follow your dreams sounds like Heaven, but the reality is everyone is a writer even if they're bad. Beth, a white girl blessed (cursed) with wide hips, is a writer with a day job and insecurities a mile long. Her older sister is married with kids, living in a house, not worrying about money. She has a screening a month away for her short film no one has RSVPed to and the only attention she gets from men is about her butt. In this world, Beth balances career and life by following her favorite indie bands around Silverlake and Echo Park. One fateful night at The Satellite, Beth has a chance encounter with Sam, tall, handsome, and awkward sense of humor. They exchange numbers and start the dating process. They go on cheap dates to the Observatory and the beach, but a show at a gentlemen's club tests Beth's confidence in herself and Sam's commitment.
This is getting a Singles makeover.
