By Abubakar Mwenda

GENRE: Drama, Crime
LOGLINE:

A father forces his son into believing and joining in his extremism course. He seeks a way out, even though, the son knows that deserting the group to go back home, is not an option and a warranty for his death penalty.

SYNOPSIS:

Abdi, an Al Shabaab commander, recruits his only son Hassan into the radical, Extremism Islamic group operating in Somalia. Sakina, Abdi's wife, is arrested back at home when a local Kenyan Police station is attacked and the Al Shabaab members who had been arrested, escape and are freed. Hassan seeks forgiveness from his mother for getting recruited and also for her getting arrested because of his actions of attacking the Police station and freeing his fellow AlShabaab members. During the mother ad son conversation, the young commander Hassan learns that his Auntie and sister died, in the public transport van they were in after it exploded in the course of their heavily armed attack of the police station. Sakina, Hassan's mother, begs his son to abandon the group and come back home. Hassan, deep inside, knows it's not as easy as she thinks.
