About Simon

I'm a multi-disciplined creative based in London. I've produced, directed, and written several short films and produced a couple of low budget feature films. I've been skirting round the film industry for a while and hopefully learned from a shit-load of mistakes I've made.

I've written several genre screenplays (sci-fi, horror and action) - with one screenplay developed as part of the (now defunct) Ridley Scott presents low budget genre filmmaker scheme. I've also written two TV pilots. Over the years I’ve had a couple of options and shopping deals but nothing that has actually resulted in the script turning into a film - though I’ve got close! In September 2023 I was a Shore Script TV Pilot Semi-Finalist.

My day job is working as a project manager at a tech company - it has some transferrable skills related to producing! But I am concurrently writing a script for a micro-budget musical which I am planning to direct in the summer.
