SYNOPSIS:

An organized crime family that has smuggling routes all over the world sets out to destroy indigenous areas in Venezuela through illegal and dangerous gold mining. One of the crime family members, forced to choose between his American lover and immense wealth, teams up with her to bring down the whole enterprise, with the help of the indigenous people and Interpol, and the final climactic scene traps all the bad players, including Russian mafia, Cuban officials, Iranian oil merchants and child traffickers.

Background: Set in Venezuela, although easily filmed in safe areas in Colombia such as Boyaca, this script delves into the horrific violence on the border between the two countries, where illegal gold mining, human trafficking, drugs and money laundering have spread their tentacles into over 24 countries through organized crime.
