A brilliant but disabled ex-lacrosse star forms a controversial relationship with the team coach. With jealous teammates, and a Human Resources harridan scheming against them, will their relationship become a disgrace, or will love win in the end?

SYNOPSIS:

FAST PITCH: A brilliant and precocious female college student, a former world class lacrosse hopeful, suffers a disabling arm injury due to a car accident. Unable to play anymore, she still visits the local college girls lacrosse games and the coach notices her making diagrams of game strategies, which turn out to be original and effective. They form a friendship, in spite of the scorn and jealousy of the girls on the team. As they grow closer, the coach becomes more and more entranced by her uniqueness. He fashions a lacrosse stick that enables her to play again, but at the moment of this triumph, they are accused of an inappropriate relationship by a HR harridan and the scheming girls in the team. The coach is forced to resign, but the disabled student turns the tables on the plotters and flummoxes their plans. As a result, the budding love affair between the coach and the student is forced to end, until a startlingly bizarre accident makes everything work out for the two of them.
