Andrew John Richardson

Andrew Richardson is currently operating freelance in the North East of England. He is a graduate from Northumbria University with an Upper 2nd Class BA Hons in Media Production, specialising in Animation and Motion Graphics.

He currently works voluntarily at Media Savvy Training solutions.

He has hands on experience working in most animation styles such as Cutout, Stop Motion, Timelapse, Rotoscoping and Pixelation. He also has experience of working with Rostrum Cameras to produce tradition animation as well as DSLR cameras to incorporate more modern styles and effects.

He is also a keen photographer with experience of working with traditional and digital photography methods as well as experimenting with digital photo manipulation. He also has access to Adobe Production Premium CS5 and a Canon EOS 550D DSLR Camera for pre production, production and post production of a given project.

In the past 2 years he has gained in depth experience working with Adobe software: Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and Premier Pro.

He hopes to put his skills towards a career in Advertising, Photography, TV or Film. He has a strong desire to further his knowledge, particulary in After Effects to produce a variety of special effects, title sequences, character and backdrop animation.
