Synopsis:

Prof. Buddy Buddie has witnessed the downfall of all to which he held dear. The streets are torn apart by plagued personalities and divided souls. Threats of terrorism and violence have observed a society conflicted between the nature of their frightening environment and their positive inner moral compass. The world is on the precipice. But who is going to pull it back?

Professor Buddy must make a change...But how? Using his expertise as a Bioengineer, he spends months concocting a formula that acts as an internal mirror for its consumer. The potion or ‘Soup’ challenges the person to confront their inner demons, allowing them to rationalize their fears and conquering their worries. The result will leave the user emotionally balanced and at harmony with the world.

But as with all medication, there is a period of trial and error. With no-one to help, Prof. Buddy uses himself as the guinea Pig. However, a primitive version of the final product rips Buddy’s personality in two! Buddy, a conscientious law abiding citizen... And Seth, a tormented tyrant fuelled by rage and jealousy. Seth is an entity that represents all the negative elements to Buddy’s character and yearn for recognition in an already egocentric surrounding.

With the powerful and now perfected ‘soup’ in hand, Buddy, and in effect Seth, decide to distribute this medicine in the form of a food, and in fact, as a SOUP. He starts a restaurant called ‘THE SOUP OPERA’.

The SOUP OPERA becomes the home for sanctuary in a rabid ferocious world. Customers become obsessed by the soup that helps embrace their inner demons, beginning a journey towards internal harmony and peace.

BUT a darkness stirs… Deep within Buddy. Seth’s power grows from within. Taking control of Buddy’s body, Seth works to destroy everything Buddy has built, including his successful Soup Opera. When a mysterious poisoning outbreak occurs to customers of the Soup Opera some lives are lost, and some are rushed to intensive care.

Things have to change! Buddy must challenge Seth…It’s all or nothing. The prize… Buddy’s body… for eternity.

But with the help from friend and head chef of Soup Opera 'Hairy' and the motivation to keep daughter safe, Buddy devises a plan to trap Seth forever in the ether. But Seth knows Buddy too well and plans to not only avoid imprisonment but destroy Buddy in the process.

They decide to make a bet… A Bet neither can afford to lose....Winner takes all...This body… Life or death… Forever.
