About Greg

Growing up on Star Wars and Superheroes, Greg Mannino has lived, breathed and drawn stories of his own since he could hold a pencil.

Greg is most noted for creating Dorothy from 2004 - 2008, “a fascinating photo-art retelling of the Oz story in a modern (and not-for-kids) vein” (Dave Carter, Yet Another Comics Blog). Greg Mannino's Creatures and Oddities is a big hit with the kids. This modern poetry comic book uses Greg's unique creature drawings and mixes them with zany rhymes to craft a fun experience for the whole family.

The Cowl is an all new comic book created and illustrated by Greg Mannino. An angry, insecure comic book geek has his dream realized when he’s given the powers of a super hero.

Greg is working on moving into the film world creating such films as Going Solo, Freak Me Out and Artificial. His latest film entitled Snowbirds just wrapped production and is now in post-production and should be released in May 2013.
