Synopsis: When Aimee, in her early 30’s, hears her biological clock ticking out of control, she finally decides to ‘do it’ with her husband who has wanted a baby for years. Right when she is about to tell him, he dies suddenly in a freak accident. Adam and Sami, Aimee’s children, waiting to be born, believe their very existence on earth is in jeopardy, engage a 4th class Angel, Serendipity, to encourage Aimee to procreate. As Serendipity discovers the truth about Aimee’s husband, and the fact that because of her obsession with him she won’t move forward with relationships, he takes matters in his own hands to alter her direction, by catapulting her into the life of a lonely cynic and confirmed bachelor, Phil, who has just challenged destiny that if there is one woman for him, she would have to fall out of the sky. After Aimee lands on Phil’s lap, they fall into a fountain. They plunge into a crazy ‘almost’ love affair, where they want to make love, but are constantly interrupted by her loyalty to her dead husband. Aimee’s future children who’s destiny are at stake, continue to urge Serendipity to push Phil and Aimee together, where they all discover, Serendipity may guide, but do babies decide the rules of romance?
