SYNOPSIS:

38-year-old Charlotte St. Claire is rudely dumped by her cheating husband, Carter, days before their 20th anniversary. Heartbroken, Charlotte retreats to her hometown called Flaretown with her teenage son Charlotte Jr. There, she reunites with her three vivacious best friends Marvella, Wendy and Diana. After holding a metaphoric funeral for Carter, Charlotte is left depressed. Meanwhile, Marvella, Wendy and Diana search for Carter’s mistress and discover she’s a 21-year-old social media influencer named Serena. On the day of her anniversary, the three of them bring Charlotte to confront the young woman but she uses awesome martial arts skills to beat them up. The fight is recorded by Serena and it goes viral. The four friends recover in a karaoke bar where they serenade Charlotte with a song for her anniversary. With the support of her best friends, Charlotte decides to start anew in Flaretown.
