JUST IMAGINE
By Dee Dupree Silverstein

GENRE: Drama
LOGLINE: John Lennon's violent and untimely death sends a young Canadian woman spiraling back in time to the 1600's where she discovers something about herself that changes her life.

SYNOPSIS:

Have you even met someone you felt comfortable with instantly? Do you brush it off as coincidence? But what if coincidence did not exist? Just imagine if you had known that person before... JUST IMAGINE is based on the true story of a happy and content, JEWELLE LEWIS, living an ordinary life in a sleep mountain town high on the Canadian Rockies with her pragmatic husband, BOB and their four children. But her idyllic life changes forever on December 9, 1980, the day that JOHN LENNON was fatally shot. Jewelle cannot sleep. Her dreams become disturbing. She is haunted by visions and ghosts from 1649. Her husband doesn't understand what is happening to her; her friends don't understand; she doesn't understand, but even though she never knew John Lennon, nor was she a fan of the Beatles, she cannot let it go. Why is she so powerfully affected by the death of a stranger who lived thousands of miles away, born in a country she has never visited? Questions burn in Jewelle's mind, compelling her to research the past life of a woman she begins seeing in these new visions and dreams. Unable to live with the torment of not-knowing-why, Jewelle travels to England in search of answers. JUST IMAGINE takes us back to 17th Century Sussex, England, where Jewelle becomes deeply immersed in the life of KATHERINE JAMES, a seventeen-year-old girl who is madly in love with a country gentleman named JOHN BARRON of Fittleworth. After experiencing mystery, intrigue and fail-proof evidence, Jewelle is convinced that she is Katherine James, and discovers a love she has not known in her current life. JUST IMAGINE is an extraordinary journey into the past, to a life filled with frightful images of jealousy and madness most murderous. It reunites us with a beloved icon, John Lennon, whose wisdom guides us, and whose songs deliver the truth to us, "we all shine on, like the moon and the stars and the sun..."
