Ann Tracy is a New England native who heard the "call of the clams" in 2011. Her film credits include George B (Sundance Film Festival 1995), as well as the independent features “Capital Women” (PCS Festival 07), “Anna’s Cross” (Sacramento Film Festival 09) and “Bitter/Sweet” (David Ligon Films - Sacramento International Film Festival 2011).
Here in Maine, Tracy has appeared in Battered as Mrs. Smith, (Sophie Voltin, Cribstone Productions, 2014) and in Sui Generis, Detective Groeber, (Jenny Anastassoff, Dark Farm Films, 2014). Sui Generis premiered at the 2014 Damnationland Film Festival in 2014.
She was the first female voice on the air at KTLK, Denver in 1977 as an overnight radio news announcer and worked in the Milwaukee, San Jose and Sacramento markets for ten years as a news director/announcer/reporter. Ann is also a photographer and artist working in the digital and video mediums. Her fine art has been exhibited from Japan to Maui to New York City to Spain. She has a studio at Running with Scissors in Portland Maine.
