About Julie
Hi, I'm Julie - I've written and produced several short screenplays. I think the best one I make was Don't Ask Why - it was rejected by a Raindance Production competition (they felt it was a little too dark I believe), but everyone involve thought the story had a spark of hope at the end and it ended up winning quite a few awards:

I live in a smaller city now in Sudbury Ontario and I do not have many creative contacts. I also have a lot of family (love) to care for right now, but despite these hard times, I still feel that I want to create, so if are in the area.... I pay actors 100 dollars a day and I don't take advantage of anyone. Personally, I have been swindled a few times in the indie film business (people who did not honour payment, or promises). However, I think that has happened to many artists and I personally have always honoured payment and given proper credit to people who acted and helped. I do my own editing and sound editing, so I really only need actors for my next project. If you live in the area and are not part of a union, but have a good sense of humour and just genuinely like acting, feel free to contact me.
