As an actor, Rikki Lee Travolta was most recently seen in the film The Lurker opposite Scout Taylor-Compton. He can next be seen in the films Vampirus and That Night. In the 90s Travolta made headlinews as the first special guest star in the Tony n' Tina's Wedding stage phenomenon reviving ticket sales in Chicago and then branching out to increase ticket sales in productions across the country. In 2005 he was named alongside Donny Osmond and Patrick Cassidy as one of the Top 10 Headliners for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. After taking time away from the industry to work as a company spokesperson, he returned to acting in 2016 as McMurphy in a Midwest Revival of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, earning a Best Actor nomination in the Broadway World Chicago Theater Awards. Since then, he has appeared in a variety of film, television, stage, voice over, and commercial projects.
Rikki Lee Travolta is also a published author and journalist, an optioned screenwriter., and a produced television writer. He has been published by many of the world’s leading publishers including CMP Media, Cahners, Reed Elsevier, Miller Freeman, Business News Publishing, Chartwell Communications, and James Informational Media. One of his books was named an Amazon Top Ten Recommendation. His scripts have been finalists in many prestigious screenplay competitions including Scriptapalooza, Las Vegas International Film & Screenwriting Festival, Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, Chicago Screenplay Awards, Marina del Rey Film Festival, Filmatic Comedy Screenplay Awards, New York International Screenplay Awards, Fresh Voices Screenwriting Competition, Portland Screenplay Competition, and Southern California Screenplay Competition. He holds a B.A. in Entertainment Management and did his graduate work in Education. He is also Second City trained.
