About Kim

You know how you hear people say they get up every morning and love the job they go to each and every day. I'd often hear people say that and wish I could find the same thing. It took me many years and a lot of different jobs to find it, but I finally did. In film production. I thrive on the challenge of finding resources, organizing all the resources and pulling it all together to make something come to life. With anything. Film, Events, Fundraisers, the wrap parties, casting calls. I love the details and planning that it takes to make things happen. It's my way of being creative and it took me a while to figure out those were skills / talents that not everyone can do or do well. It may sound funny or strange, but I absolutely love having things to plan and organize - and what better outcome than an movie?

I've been privileged to work with different crews, production groups, actors, directors and locations. It's been amazing at how pieces come together. Every day is a learning experience that I look forward to. Each challenge or obstacle is just a new way to be creative and think outside of the box to find solutions. With each project I find new ways to challenge myself, to step up my own game and to make it better than the last because each project shows me my own weaknesses and makes me want to demand better from myself, be better at what I love to do.

I've been producing for over 7 years now. I've produced award winning shorts, 2 features, a 26 episode sports talk show for a Christian network, music videos, commercials, books trailers and festival pieces. In addition to co-owning Flickers Studio I'm also on the board of Amelia Island's Rendezvous Film Festival.

Unique traits: Collecting pieces and resources, problem solving, resourcefulness, people person, love the details, good at polishing, a stickler for safety and making sure everyone is well taken care of.
