About Alyse

Award winning LA based filmmaker, Alyse Kane Riley has directed and produced upwards of 60 projects spanning in television, film, commercial and music video, while writing and developing an upcoming series, "MEADOW" 2024.

AKR was recently nominated as "Top Emerging Filmmaker" by Lonely Wolf International Film Festival. Her directorial credits include: REVLON, STAR WARS, LUCASFILM LTD., HYPEBEAST, MTV, BET, VEVO, REVOLT + more, holding a well-versed understanding of production from all aspects.

She has lectured at The Next Generation of Filmmakers panel at Paramount Studios, as well as for the University of North Texas and the University of Miami film programs. She continues to mentor filmmakers as a Fireside Panelist for Made in Her Image, and other filmmaking events and communities.

Her most recent film, Footprints in the Dirt was nominated for Best Of Fest at LA SHORTS 2023, and her film Come As You Are, a short biopic on Nirvana front-man Kurt Cobain, centers on mental health and addiction and was a 12x award winner in the film festival circuit (2021-22).

Alyse has recently signed on to direct the psychological horror film "LIMINALITY" written by Robb Edward Morris. (2023)
