About Catherine

Screenwriting is a fascinating journey. Thus far I've completed:
1) Two feature drama scripts
2) Pilot drama script
3) Mutliple and varied story ideas accompanied by their loge line (almost but not quite written on a napkin)!

Powerful family legacy and values tied to monumental historical events seem to be the framework for my creative content. The realities and the challenges life presents and how we rise above these challenges are the heart and soul of my writing passion!
An intense, fulfilling career in the world of finance provided the gift of early retirement. A retirement that is equally as intense but far more creative! A story teller as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed success in the world of journalism (periodicals). This lead to the desire to write screenplays. Action!
Living in the the magical Appalachian mountains of Western North Carolina, the blunt reality of Los Angeles and the splendor of the desert in Scottsdale, Arizona gives the inspiration to bring to the screen stories of human inspirations and aspirations. .
A native of Southern California with deep 'Ashevillian' roots, other interests include: Equestrian competition, foreign language, ocean boating, culinary exploration, and the ever fascinating balance of human relationships.

Unique traits: A business background combined with an ongoing curiosity of the what makes people tick and how we can all be better at living life for ourselves and the world for at large. My works Infuse this into action and image combined with a big dose of unique life experiences and deep imagination . My mantra is the Golden Rule!
