Ronald Craig Johnson

Ronald Craig Johnson is a writer and graphic artist in Los Angeles. He co-founded the visual effects company Engine Studios, and is best known for producing motion graphics, promotional spots, and marketing materials for feature films such as Spider-man: Homecoming, Hotel Transylvania 2, Ghostbusters, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

Ronald Craig has a range of experience in visual storytelling and is credited on over thirty festival short films with roles that include writer, director, cinematographer and positions in nearly every production department. He was educated at Florida State University College of Motion Picture before entering the entertainment industry in 2011 as a visual effects and motion graphics artist for studio clients that include Disney, Fox, Sony, and Universal.

Most recently, Ronald Craig was involved in the development, writing, and production of Adventures with Roomi, a story-driven therapeutic virtual reality experience for patients at children’s hospitals. He is currently writing and developing a portfolio of feature screenplays for upcoming motion pictures.

With a passion for all things dark, edgy, beautiful, and thought-provoking, Ronald Craig is excited to explore classic narratives from fresh perspectives with the goal of sharing diverse world-views with niche audiences. He’s obsessed with traditional stories that take bold chances and shamelessly believes the world would be a better place if Rian Johnson wrote and directed more Star Wars films.
