SYNOPSIS:

A pretty young mother is murdered in her home, and the place is set on fire with her 18-month-old baby still inside. The baby winds up in intensive care with burns on 80% of her bother, and is slowly dying. While under sedation, her spirit leaves her body and tries to contact her mother's lover, the cynical Jake Travers, to identify the killer. However, as part of her spirit is still attached to the physical world, she can only communicate in baby talk, making it almost impossible for Jake to understand her.
