About Jennifer

Jennifer Goldson is a screenwriter who specializes in character driven material. She has two produced features under her belt. Off The Menu which starred Santino Fontana (Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Tootsie on Broadway) and Dania Ramirez (Once Upon A Time, Devious Maids) and was directed and produced by Jay Silverman, an award-winning director of television commercials. The piece is about an heir to a Taco Bell-type chain who unexpectedly falls in love with an authentic Latina Chef while on a stealth mission to steal her recipes in New Mexico. It was distributed on HBO and distributed across various VOD platforms. Another film currently on rotation is Evil Doctor (AKA “Snatched”) airing on Lifetime (yes, a Lifetime thriller) and stars Dina Meyer, Jen Lilley and Corin Nemec. It’s about an OB-GYN who becomes so obsessed with her patient’s husband that she puts her on bed rest in order to carry out a Fatal Attraction-like affair.

Next on the pipeline is an adaptation of the popular YA book Where I End and You Begin co-written with director/writer Darren Stein (of “Jawbreaker” fame). Jennifer is also collaborating with Patrick Tobin (“Cake”), working together on a high-concept comedy script. Currently being shopped is a biopic on the famous David Hockney double portrait called Mr & Mrs Clark, and a dramedy series called Look At Me about a female plastic surgeon and her struggles in the male dominated world of surgery. Jennifer also has an indie comedy called Rent Control being packaged, a contemporary fable on jealousy.

Jennifer also works in the world of docu-series and is a co-producer of the upcoming three-part PBS special The Great American Muslim RoadTrip. She has also worked extensively in the television and film business.
