PAT'S PACK
By Michael Sortino

GENRE: Action, Comedy
LOGLINE: Four guys meet every year to drink to their friendship and miserable lives on St. Patrick's Day, but this year, they're given a chance at glory when they become the only hope to save the Western United States from a devastating attack.

SYNOPSIS:

They’re all approaching 40 much too fast, and with not a lot to show for themselves. One’s an out of work bum, one’s a vet with anger issues, and one’s a ladies fragrance salesman who can’t even stand up to his burly, female manager. And the leader of the pack is Patrick Kilian, a charismatic, though way-down-on-his-luck guy who is tired of being a loser. He lives back at home after losing his business and his wife to bankruptcy. But today, St. Patrick’s Day, is his day, according to his mother. Turns out, she’s more right than she knows. It's a rough start, though, as Patrick finds out that the new love of his life is actually married to a scary Arab guy that she led him to believe was just her brother. Not good news. And, it’s just the beginning. When Patrick learns that Laleh’s husband is aware of their relationship and plans to take her back to Iran to have her properly “dealt with” the following day, he coerces his friends to back him up in an effort to separate the woman from her killer husband. It’s a bit of bad timing, since this is actually the night that Ahmed, her husband, has planned to destroy half of the United States and bring the country to its knees. What follows is a domino effect of action, comedy and thrills that brazenly depicts one thing: the rise of the modern, American male, especially when he’s called to defend the lives of the ones he loves. But, will Pat’s Pack get overwhelmed in the fight? Are they out of their league? Or, for the sake of the country and the redemption of a handful of men who refuse to go down easy, will the luck of the Irish go a long way tonight?
