Shannon Parkere

Shannon Parker has been a scholar, a grassroots organizer, and a nationally-ranked javelin thrower. She's only speared one person and it really was an accident. She is a queer Black woman whose art grapples with race, gender, justice, mental health, family, and success. Her stories are empathetic and darkly humorous, and advanced in competitions by ScreenCraft, WeScreenplay, and The Script Lab.
