SYNOPSIS:

"Sidney's Kidney" is a comedy along the lines of "What About Bob" or "Due Date" that brings together two diametrically opposed characters then lets the comedic sparks fly. Reggie Jones is the reigning NBA MVP and leads the league in scoring, but his diva attitude has prevented him from winning a championship and alienated his family. Sidney Kanaski’s an adult orphan and rabid Reggie fan who tries too hard to be liked. Reggie collapses during a game and is diagnosed with kidney disease. He needs an immediate transplant, but he has a rare blood type, and Sidney's the only match. They are thrown together in a reality show about their recovery and this “Odd Couple” combination creates havoc in Reggie’s life, but in a strange and twisted course of events, Sidney’s childish antics open Reggie's eyes to his own behavior. With his family life at a crossroad, and his team in turmoil, Reggie must set aside his ego and accept the fact that Sidney has more to offer than just his kidney if he is to achieve what his fame and money could not buy.
