LeMar is a former Paramount Studies television staff writer who has become a perennial finalist in various screenplay competitions over the years. His recent comedy screenplay Sidney’s Kindey was a finalist in the 2013 Filmmakers International Screenwriting Awards competition. His half-hour comedy pilot script Maggie's House of Clowns was a finalist in the 2011 LA Comedy Festival and winner of the 2012 TV Me! Pitch contest. The genres of his screenplays range from comedy to action adventure with budgets from ultra-low to summer tent pole. He was born and raised in the city of angels, plays novice hockey, occasionally yelps and tweets and is currently producing and directing a documentary on foster youth and homelessness in Los Angeles.
