SYNOPSIS:
Recently engaged to a drug kingpin's daughter, Peace Corps volunteer, Lane Hastings, finds himself fleeing for his life with his fiancee. Pursued by a love spurned cartel enforcer and his men, they find help in the form of Roy Drexler, a fallen on hard times, ex CIA agent, abandoned in Panama after the '89 invasion. Leading them into the Darien Gap, the world's most dangerous place, the trio attempt to reach the safety of the Columbian border. They are put to their physical and mental limits as they find themselves facing jungle dangers, deadly wildlife and Roy's growing feelings for Dolores, Lane's fiancee. Purused by cartel enforcers every step of the way, all seems lost when Roy is captured by Columbian guerillas. Lane and Dolores' mettle is tested as they attempt to rescue their guide from a most certain death and settle the score with the enforcers who killed Dolores' father.
