NO BEARS

LOGLINE: A young man camping with his paranoid city girl friend discovers a normally insignificant annoyance has become worse than the bears.

SYNOPSIS:

It's well past midnight and Jake, dead tired, can't sleep because his girlfriend, Samantha, is positive every little sound outside is some animal ready to carve them into little bits and bleed them dry. Certain bears are outside by now, despite Jake's insistence they won't come near the campfire, she pleads until Jake, desperate for sleep, relents. Opening the flap, he shoves his head out. And is shocked to find B-grade hybrid human/mosquitoe,s in lab coats and army uniforms, studying a crude plan on how to get past the mosquito netting covering the tent. A General Patton mosquito prods the netting in frustration, and when Samantha asks if it's bears, Jake replies in the only way he can, "Nope. No bears." and pulling back inside finishes with, "Now please go to sleep."
