SYNOPSIS:

Description: Based on a recently published, award winning children’s book by underwater photographer Beverly Factor, this proposed theatrical movie is a 3D hybrid-mix of wonderful live action, beautiful footage of the sea, and creative 3D animation. Overview: How important it is to keep our oceans clean and how the current conditions are endangering the environment and fish population, which affects us all? Since children are the next adult population, it is important to educate them in various ways that will make them take notice and have an impact. This can be done through a story they can relate to and get excited about so they will remember and help protect our seas. Premise: “Angelee Saves the Sea” is the story of a little girl, Angelee, who absolutely and fanatically loves her incredible amount of pet fish, the sea, and all creatures living within it. She wants to save the ocean from peril such as pollution and destruction, by fulfilling a school project and assignment of making a picture book with photographs, and having a lofty goal to present it to the world leaders, who are doing a TV appearance on Earth Day. Angelee wants all people around the globe to realize the beauty of the sea below, and its problems, in hopes they will change their ways to protect it. While running out of time and trying desperately to make a deadline to turn her work the very next morning, Anglee falls behind, worries, and begins working through the night to complete her project. She falls asleep and then magically becomes a fish and heads out to sea to take her pictures. Along the way she receives encouragement and guidance from of all the human friends she meets on her journey, e.g., famous surfers, sailors, scientists, activists, and possibly the CEO of a particular oil company. Sea friends, Angelee meets along the way, tell her why they are endangered and teach her positive lessons. All the creatures want to help her save the sea and to improve their own habitats. However, Angelee runs into various dangers that delay her journey, such as oil spills, chemical runoff, over fishing, nets, traps, reef damage, pollution, etc., making the story an exciting adventure.
