Set in the UK of the early nineteen seventies Eddy and Tommo are two red bloodied, penniless teenagers. They need transport if they are to win the affection of the local female talent, because everybody knows, if you’ve got the right ride you can pull the birds! A spate of unsolved neighborhood burglaries spark the idea to rob the local supermarket. Over the summer with the help of a gang of characterful cohorts the heist is planned and executed. The outcome is not without its pitfalls and the lessons of youth are perhaps not as easily learned just by the acquisition of a shiny set of wheels. It’s an affectionate amusing look at a time before video games and ipods were fashionable, when all you really needed back then, was a Fizzy!
