Credits

  • Flesh

    Flesh (2016)
Film (Short, Crime, Drama, Mystery and 1 More) Actress It begins with a series of unexplained disappearances, the victims all young women. Sophie, a determined and solitary documentary filmmaker, has been investigating these cases on her own. She seeks help from Valentina, a brash ex-lover and professional dominatrix working in the sexual underworld of San Francisco. Valentina is afraid, unwilling to confront her past, but why? What is she hiding? The closer Sophie gets to the truth, the more she gets lost in the story until Sophie can no longer tell the difference between what is real, and what is a dream... or a nightmare.

  • Voice

    Voice (2015)
Film (Short, Comedy, Fantasy, Horror and 1 More) Actress VOICE is inspired by real life experience of Schizoaffective Disorder. This is a comedic science fiction fantasy with 3 characters who are all facets of the same person, who has gone into therapy to fix herself so her husband will come back. All three characters want the same thing - control of the Self - without having to share with the others. This conflict intensifies when Echo, the psychotic voice, discovers her personal star and pursues it into outer space. Eventually, she convinces Lyssa (the manic side) to go with her.

  • VOICE: A Performance Art Web Series

  • Passages, a Myth

    Passages, a Myth (2015)
Film (Short, Drama, Fantasy and Horror) Actress Sum'o the King of the Gods seeks transcendence. He aspires to turn his body into pure light. When his youngest sister, Sum'a the Enforcer, kills a Human during a dispute over the Humans using language in violation of the laws of the gods, Sum'o absorbs the Human's corpse into his body and becomes pregnant.

  • The Blue Lady

    The Blue Lady (2015)
Film (Short and Drama) Actress The setting is an 1830s South Carolina farmhouse in which two house slaves and their mistress hold vigil during the master's final, horrible hours of dying. • The Spinster

    The Spinster (2015)
Film (Short and Drama) Actress THE SPINSTER is a performance art/video art single-channel movie about an office worker who lives to draw in the classical style. I used Method acting to develop the character by drawing every day for two months so that I could draw on camera without cues, diagrams or even anatomical models. Except for a few minutes of documentary style footage taken my husband, this is a one-man movie. The movie was shot on first-gen Canon Vixias, except for the street scenes, which were shot on a Flip. • Affect

    Affect (2014)
Film (Short, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy and 1 More) Actress 'Affect' is a stylishly surrealistic non-linear comedy about a manic depressive's experience of psychosis as she shops around for a therapist. Mania and a psychotic voice, which often manifests itself as clownlike, mischievous presence, continually interfere with, interrupt and sabotage the woman's attempts to communicate with therapist after therapist. The movie is composed of interwoven monologues with a scratchy, circa 1920s Blues song as a musical theme.

  • TYFTB (Thank You from the Bottom)

TYFTB (Thank You from the Bottom) (2014)
Film (Drama, Horror and Sci-Fi) Actress A woman, who believes the Universe is collapsing, tries to find a black hole to escape into.

  • Running Out

    Running Out (2014)
Film (Short and Drama) Actress Fly-on-the-wall movie that opens with a woman planning to kill herself. As the story unfolds, however, suicidality itself looms as the central character.

  • Lucy, the First Human

    Lucy, the First Human (2014)
Film (Short and Fantasy) Actress LUCY, THE FIRST HUMAN is video art/micro-cinema crossing genre into nonlinear science fiction fantasy. The subject matter is paleoanthropological. The setting is a barren, shadowy, womb-like or cave-like environment. There is only one character in the movie. She is based on the hominid, Australopithecus afarensis. This movie is composed of a series of improvisations of what the first human would do, think, feel, and how it would develop. The solitary female character is like an infant, mostly sleeping in the beginning. In her waking hours, her primary interest is herself until things begin to suddenly and surrealistically appear in her 'cave.' She gradually is drawn out of her self-absorption into the real world. • Kabuki Geisha

    Kabuki Geisha (2012)
Film (Short and Drama) Actress A video performance portrait is based on a poem about a woman about age 60 who wanders the Financial District in San Francisco, moving like only old dancers move.

  • Indigo Lady

    Indigo Lady (2012)
Film (Short, Crime, Drama and Romance) Sound department INDIGO LADY is a performance art film about a Nebraska ranching empire heiress who murders her husband, butchers him the way her father taught her to butcher a hog, and 'cures' him in the meat cellar. The movie is loosely based on various news items, folklore, and random stories about rural life that the director heard while living in Nebraska the first half of her life. The story, characters, and subtext are lifted from a solo performance play that the director wrote in the 1990s and that was produced by The Lorraine Hansberry Theater in San Francisco USA. The dialogue and action are completely improvised by the actors and shot 'documentary style.' The movie heavily employs montage and each scene is a 'painting.' Written by Anonymous
