When people disappear and die in the mysterious Lake Death, a man believes he saw the one behind the horror and has to conquer his fears to stop a dark evil from claiming more souls.
SYNOPSIS:
Have I ever been sane?
Now, aināt that a good question or what?
Jack has surely been asking himself that a lot lately. He watches the news to once again realize heās the only one who made it out alive from the perfidious Lake Death, where folks mysteriously disappeared. Some turned up dead, their bodies horribly deformed.
And Jack saw it. He knows who, better saying, what is behind the madness. Itās a thing, not human. Thatās why heās so afraid to talk about it, even to the police, fearing being labeled a goddamn weirdo. Truth is Jack is scared to death. After beating himself up, his troubled mind pushes him back to the ominous place. He drives to Lake Death. Itās dark and eerie. A worn-out canoe waits. He paddles to the center. Too petrified to breathe, Jack again has to face his worst demons, one in particular. The creature finds him. Shall he run scared? Can he stay and fight? Turning back is no longer an option.

I like it! But maybe "the one" could be changed (the entity, the culprit etc). And if 'Lake Death' is a nickname the locals give it, I think that's cool, but if it's the actual name of the lake then it's a little on the nose.
Thank you very much for the suggestions, Kathryn!
