GENRE: Drama
LOGLINE:

Two friends inspire a woman to search for missing twins — Later begin to doubt. -  are they really hers, or part of a delusion?

SYNOPSIS:

A baby obsessed teen, Rosemary leaves San Bernardino to live in L.A. with friend Lisa. She's left behind fraternal twin babies Jane and Anne — but whose are they? It becomes clear that we don't know if the babies are hers or if they belong to the Fergusons, the family for whom Rosemary was a nanny.

19 years pass. At her restaurant, she's hired two college students struggling to make ends meet, Kim and Tracy, on a probationary basis. The girls want to make a good impression to secure their jobs. Rosemary (suffering from recurring anemia), still missing the twins, now diagnose of breast cancer.

Kim and Tracy know Rosemary had depression and a hard life — perhaps they can help her by finding the twins, and a man to restore her lost faith in romance? They locate a detective, Det. Glover, who Rosemary secures to find the twins. After a series of events, the girls reunite Rosemary with her lost teenage love James, believed to be the twins' father.

But James lost his memory in a motorcycle accident, doesn't remember fathering twins. He believes the twins belonged to the Fergusons. Because Det. Glover has made no progress using the twins’ pictures, he wants James' DNA — but James is wanted for a crime, and can't risk having his DNA in the system.

After James sees some old pictures, James partly recalls the lost memory of been a teen lover with Rosemary. But can’t recollect her pregnancy or fathering twins. James have challenges in sustaining love relationship. He decides to help find the twins to win back Rosemary.

With the surgery looming, Rosemary makes her will. She intends to leave her money to Jane and Anne, if they can be found — if they can't, the money will go to Kim and Tracy, as Det. Glover suggests. As the hunt for the missing twins continues, Kim and Tracy begin to doubt Rosemary’s story, and Rosemary begins to doubt Kim and Tracy's true intention too.

A series of twists. Were they really trying to help Rosemary, or scheming to warm their way into her life, to inherit her money? Suspicious, Rosemary gets the police involved.

It becomes clear that Kim and Tracy were both born the same day as the twins. And grew up in the locations where the twins' foster families lived. Meanwhile, the chance of James been cleared is dicey, but he agrees to have his DNA put to the test. And the police get Kim and Tracy's DNA as well.

Rosemary makes a breakthrough with a visit from her friend Lisa — two different pictures were switched. One of her with the Fergusons' babies, and one of her with her own babies...

The DNA results come back. Kim and Tracy are Jane and Anne! And James, his love rekindled, proposes marriage to Rosemary. The ceremony is held in Rosemary's hospital, with all the families involved gathered. James is exonerated, and the puzzle of the gone twins has resulted in a happy family reunited. This script is followed by a sequel – PUZZLE OF TWINS’ LOVE.
