Smaoui Tawfik

Tawfik Smaoui is a filmmaker born in Casablanca. He studied editing and special effects at the Ouarzazate Film Institute and obtained a MA in documentary filmmaking from Abdelmalek Essaadi University in 2018. He has been working in the film industry since 2014 as production assistant, cinematographer and editor for various films, TV series, commercials and music video productions.
Art from nowhere and the reception of Augustin Sourzac is his first project documentary as an independent director.
